snow spiral

 With my apologies to Andy Goldsworthy, this is a project in New Haven, Connecticut  that I undertook in February of 2001.   It  was installed in the back yard of a house  in an urban neighborhood  over the course of two hours.  My seven year old  assistant used the center for a snow fort.  The photographs trace the  melting of the spiral over the course of two weeks.
