I undersigned Pierre Cle promise and obligate myself for a Cash premium, which has been received to my satisfaction, to deliver and transfer at sight of this (contract), to Mr Joan van Lancker or his order, between today and the first transfer day after next August first, six shares in the Generaele Keyserlycke Indische Compagnie, under condition of reimbursing me at transfer everything that has already been, and perhaps may be paid towards these shares during that period, and in addition paying me at the same time the sum of seven hundred pounds cash for the second premium at the rate of seventy percent agio on every share, and will in return to whom who will accept and pay these shares at the same time pay out and reimburse, everything that the Company in the meantime will in any way return on these shares as dividend, reimburse, or give, even if this would exceed the aforementioned payment, but if these shares have not been called from me by next August first, and on the first transfer day after the call have not been transferred and paid, to which the caller is obligated, then this obligation on my behalf will have no value, and the shares like the cash premium, which will always and irrevocably belong to me, with everything that will be received from the company will be abandoned to me.

Hereby contracted through intervention of Mr Van der Hoeke, sworn broker, under contract of my Person and goods in Antwerp the tenth of November seventeen twenty nine.
